Central New Mexico Electric serves almost 14,000 consumers living in Bernalillo, Chaves, DeBaca, Guadalupe, Lincoln, San Miguel, Sandoval, Santa Fe, Socorro, Torrance and Valencia counties.
The company owns 4,156 miles of transmission line. It has invested $59.5 million to serve its members.
The board meets on the 4th Thursday of each month; the annual meeting is held the 3rd Saturday of April. The cooperative was incorporated on March 8, 1945 and began providing electric service in 1949.
