Central New Mexico Electric serves almost 13,567 consumers living in Bernalillo, Chaves, DeBaca, Guadalupe, Lincoln, San Miguel, Sandoval, Santa Fe, Socorro, Torrance and Valencia counties.
The company owns 4,429 miles of distribution line. It has invested $101 million to serve its members.
The board meets on the 4th Thursday of each month; the annual meeting is held the 3rd Saturday of April. The cooperative was incorporated on March 8, 1945 and began providing electric service in 1949.
