Central New Mexico Electric serves 13,425 consumers living in Bernalillo, Chaves, DeBaca, Guadalupe, Lincoln, San Miguel, Sandoval, Santa Fe, Socorro, Torrance and Valencia counties.

The company owns 4,434 miles of distribution line. It has invested over $99.5 million to serve its members.

The board meets on the 4th Thursday of each month; the annual meeting is April 28, 2012. The cooperative was incorporated on March 8, 1945 and energized in 1949.
