Central Valley Electric serves 3,808 consumers living in Chaves, Eddy, Lea and Otero counties.

The company owns 3,978 miles of distribution line. It has invested $99.5 million to serve its members

The board meets on the 4th Wednesday of each month; the annual meeting is February 25, 2012. The cooperative was incorporated on June 23, 1937 and energized October 1938.
