Otero County Electric serves almost 13719 consumers living in Chaves, Lincoln, Otero and Socorro counties.
The company owns 2,624 miles of distribution line. It has invested $69.9 million to serve its members.
The board meets on the 3rd Friday of each month; the annual meeting is August 4, 2012. The cooperative was incorporated on October 16th, 1939 and energized December 1939.
